A recap of a November to remember
November was a truly memorable month at Waverley Greens, filled with music, connection, and community spirit. As we head into the holiday season, we want to take a moment to celebrate everything we experienced together.
Our First Happy Hour Friday Was a Hit!
We kicked off our first-ever Happy Hour Friday at the Waverley Café—and what a start it was! The incredible Starchamber Duo played a crowd-pleasing lineup of hits from the 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s, filling the café with energy and nostalgia.
It was a packed house from start to finish, and we’re excited to continue this tradition every Friday from 4–7 PM with $1 off drinks and rotating specialty food offerings. Thank you to everyone who came out and made it such a success!
Game Night Returns — Starting with BINGO!
November also marked the return of Game Night, thanks to Kelly and Tracey! We launched the season with BINGO, a long-time favorite here at Waverley Greens.
Residents of all ages joined in for drinks, prizes, laughs, and friendly competition. Don’t forget—Game Nights are now held twice a month year-round, and even if you’re not playing, there’s always room to relax and enjoy the café atmosphere.
Our Annual Food Drive Breaks a Record!
This year’s food drive was a tremendous success. Together, our community donated over 500 lbs of food—a new record for Waverley Greens!
If you stopped by the office during November, you probably noticed how the donations filled our entire lobby. We are incredibly grateful for your generosity and support in helping local families during the holiday season.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed in November. Your enthusiasm and kindness make Waverley Greens a wonderful place to live. We’re excited for a festive and fun December, full of events, gatherings, and holiday spirit.

December Happenings at Waverley Greens
The holiday season is here, and Waverley Greens is embracing December with a month full of community gatherings, cozy events, and festive opportunities to give back. Whether you're looking to connect with neighbors, enjoy local food, or celebrate the season of generosity, there’s something for everyone.
Game Nights – December 3rd & 17th
Join us at the Waverley Café from 5–7 PM for two evenings of games, laughter, and friendly competition! Bring a friend, meet new neighbors, and enjoy a warm, welcoming atmosphere perfect for winter evenings.
Food Truck Night – December 11th
From 4:30–7 PM, head to the Waverley Lawn for a delicious visit from Super Taco Ochoa! Fresh, flavorful, and beloved by the community, this food truck will be serving up tacos and more—perfect for a midweek treat.
Weekly Yoga
Unwind and reset with yoga in the Dundee Rec Room every Monday through Thursday at Noon - 1 PM. These midday sessions are a great way to stretch, breathe, and take time for yourself during the busy holiday season.
Happy Hour Fridays
Celebrate the end of the week every Friday from 4–7 PM at the Waverley Café. Enjoy $1 off beer, wine, and cider while listening to live music from the talented Starchamber Duo. A cozy and musical start to your weekend!

Christmas Gift Tags for Children in Need
Waverley Greens is proud to partner with Trillium Family Services this holiday season. Gift tags for children in need are available on November 29th on the Christmas tree in the office lobby. If you’d like to participate, please bring your unwrapped gifts to the office by December 13th. Your generosity can make a big difference for local families.

Please note the following schedule updates:
December 19th: Office will close early at 3 PM for a staff meeting.
December 24th: Office will close early at 3pm
December 25th & 26th: Office closed in observance of the Christmas holiday.
