October 2026 Events at Waverley Greens Apartments
Fall has arrived at Waverley Greens! The leaves are dropping, the nights are getting crisp, and if you're lucky, you might spot our resident owl behind the Birnam Oaks Building or near the garden compost, hunting for mice.
October is packed with ways to connect with your neighbors, from weekly yoga and happy hour to a food truck, bingo, a costume contest, and our brand-new Duck Hunting Week. Here's everything happening in our community this month.

First Annual Duck Hunting Week: October 12- 16
Our brand-new community tradition! Each day, two rubber ducks will be hidden on the property, one in the upper area and one in the lower. Find one and bring it to the front office to claim your prize.
Watch our Facebook and Instagram for the daily hunt. The clues are the same on both platforms and will hint at where each duck is hiding.
The Monster Mash Bash: Friday, October 30
Our special Halloween happy hour is open to all Waverley Greens residents. Hang out with Café Manager Bill, Jessica, and Beatrice, enjoy food and drink specials, and get to know your neighbors.
Halloween Costume Contest: Saturday, October 31
Stop by the front office between 10 AM and 5 PM for our annual costume contest. There are three categories: Adult, Child, and Pet. Each category gets a prize, so bring your best-dressed!
Happy hunting, and we'll see you out there!
