September 2026 Community Events at Waverley Greens: Movie Night, BBQ, Yoga & More
Movie in the Park — Saturday, September 5
Kick off September with a free outdoor movie night at Waverley Greens. We're screening the classic adventure film The Goonies starting at dusk, weather permitting. Bring a blanket, grab a spot on the lawn, and enjoy a night under the stars with neighbors.
Food Truck Tuesday: Altengartz — September 8
Waverley Greens' Food Truck Tuesday returns on September 8th from 4:30–7:00 PM (or until sold out), featuring Altengartz serving up authentic German sausage and hamburgers. This is a resident favorite, so arrive early before the truck sells out.
Water Aerobics — Final Week Through September 10
Residents can enjoy free water aerobics classes Monday through Thursday through September 10th, when this session wraps up for the season. Open to all residents at no cost.
Bingo Nights — September 10 & 23
Join fellow residents for bingo at The Café at Waverley Greens, held twice this month on September 10th and 23rd at 5:00 PM. A fun, low-key way to socialize and win prizes.
Shred Week — September 14–19
Protect your identity and declutter at the same time. During Shred Week (September 14–19), bring personal documents to the leasing office during business hours for free, secure shredding.
Yoga Classes Begin — September 14
A new yoga session kicks off September 14th with a fresh weekly schedule:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 12:00–1:00 PM
Wednesday: 6:00–7:00 PM
All fitness levels are welcome — no experience necessary.
Resident BBQ on Waverley Lawn — September 19
Don't miss the biggest event of the month: the Resident BBQ, sponsored by Crystal Greens, taking place Saturday, September 19th from 1:00–3:00 PM on the Waverley Lawn. The BBQ will feature ice cream from Luna's — a sweet way to spend a Saturday afternoon with the community.
Weekly Happy Hour — Every Friday
Cap off your week at The Café at Waverley Greens with weekly happy hour, every Friday from 4:00–7:00 PM, featuring $1 off beer, wine, and cider. On September 25th, happy hour gets an extra dose of entertainment with Open Mic Night — sign up to perform or come cheer on your neighbors.
Weekly Chat Group — Every Friday
Looking for a relaxed way to meet neighbors? Join the Chat Group every Friday from 1:00–3:00 PM at The Café at Waverley Greens. It's free for all tenants — just bring your own craft supplies.
